Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd has appointed Ujjwal Batria as COO of the company. Mr Batria will lead the operation of sales and marketing, logistics, manufacturing and technical services departments, according to the company.

Mr Batria has previously served as CEO of Lafarge India Ltd, alongside associations with Century Textiles & Industries Ltd and Tata Steel.
