Hanson UK is looking to recruit graduates of science technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by offering starting salaries of GBP25,000 (US$32,190) rising to GBP50,000 in five years under a structured graduate trainee programme.
The cement company aims to challenge new recruits by teaching them different areas of the business over a period of two to three years. Graduates could enjoy working in Germany at Hanson's parent company HeidelbergCement as well at plants in the UK, including, Ketton, Rutland, Robblesdale and Clitheroe.
Hanson UK is currently investing GBP20m at its Padeswood plant, which employs 96 people, by adding a new vertical roller mill which is being commissioined in early 2019.
