The new majority shareholder for Carthage Cement is expected to be named at the end of November.
In April Al Karama Holdings prequalified five candidates interested in acquiring the 50.52 per cent majority stake in the Tunisia-based cement producer: Omnium Industries and Promotion (Morocco), a SECIL-Soc des Ciments de Gabes consortium, Eurocem Ltd (Malta), Cementos Portland Valderrivas (Spain) and Cemolins Internacional (Spain).
