Cement sales in Morocco edged up to 1.17Mt in January 2019 from 1.11Mt in January 2017, according to the country’s cement association, APC.
The rise in demand, which follows a market contraction of 3.7 per cent in 2018, has been welcomed with one operator commenting: “The recovery of the cement market is comforting. We hope that this upward trend will continue in the coming months.”
