Cementarnica Usje announces fall in 2018 net profit

Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje has reported a four per cent fall in non-consolidated net profit to MKD1bn (US$18.4m) in 2018. The company’s total operating revenue remained fairly consistent YoY at MKD4.59bn, compared with MKD4.58bn in 2017.

Domestic market sales increased three per cent YoY to MKD2.9bn, while foreign sales declined three per cent to MKD1.5bn. The company’s operating expenses advanced four per cent to MKD3.47bn during the period.
