Eurocement orders three VRMs from Gebr Pfeiffer

Russia’s Eurocement has ordered three more VRMs for its Akhangaran project in Uzbekistan from Germany-based Gebr Pfeiffer. The order includes an MVR 5000 R-4 for raw material grinding and two MVR 5000 C-4 models for cement grinding.

The MVR 5000 R-4 has a total drive power of 2500kW and can grind 500tph of raw material to a fineness of 12 per cent R 90µm. The cement grinding mills, each with an installed drive power of 4000kW, are designed to grind 200tph of OPC at 3200 Blaine.
