FLSmidth see steep rise in OK™ mill sales in 2018

FLSmidth reports that it sold 31 new vertical roller mills for all grinding applications in 2018. The combined cement grinding capacity of OK™ Mills sold in 2018 grew by over 38 per cent from 2270tph in 2017 to 3145tph in 2018.

Raw materials grinding was added to the OK™ Mill's portfolio in 2017. Following the launch of this flagship VRM, three new OK™ raw aills were sold in 2018. The average grinding capacity per sale of OK™ Mills for cement grew by almost 10 per cent from 2017 to 2018 from 206tph in 2017 to 225tph in 2018. FLSmidth's top selling mill is the OK™ 56-4 mill.

Since FLSmidth's initialinstallation of OK™ Mills in 1982 through to the end of 2018, customers have bought a total of 184 mills, which are now installed in 67 countries around the world.
