Aumund to supply nine machines for Aslan plant modernisation

Germany’s Aumund Fördertechnik GmbH has won an order from Aslan Cement Inc, comprising of nine machines in total. The order forms part of the complete modernisation of Aslan’s plant in Darıca, Kocaeli province, Turkey, which will see it ramp up clinker production capacity to 6600tpd.

The company will supply a 225tph BWZ-L bucket elevator to feed the raw meal, as well as three different models of BWG belt bucket elevators with capacities of up to 500tph. The latter models will be used for raw meal silo feed as well as to transport raw meal to the dosing hopper and heat exchanger, according to a press release.

In addition, the order includes three KZB-type pan conveyors of 350tph capacity, which will convey clinker from the cooler to the silo. As well as two LOUISE BEW rotary discharge machines, each with a 3m diameter and 400tph capacity.

The machines are due for dispatch in September and commissioning is expected at the beginning of next year.
