The World Cement Association has appointed Ian Riley as its first CEO and he will start in his new position from 1 September 2019 when Norman Greig retires as Secretary General.
"We are delighted that Ian has agreed to join World Cement Association as its CEO, at an incredibly exciting time in our history," said WCA Chairman, Vincent Lefebvre. "His experience and drive will be invaluable as we work to take our organisation to the next level in the months and years ahead."
Ian has a wealth of international experience, having worked in Europe, Americas and Asia including China where he spent the last 10 years as Country Head for LafargeHolcim. WCA Membership & Administration Manager, Kirsty Monk, becomes the new Company Secretary.
