Ciment et Matériaux du Mali (CMM) has officially launched its cement business, announcing the first bags for sale by 15 October from its cement plant in Diago, Mali.

CMM started the construction of the 0.5Mta unit in 2017. The XOF20bn (US$33.4m) new plant will create 150 direct jobs and 1500 indirect jobs.
