HeidelbergCement Trading appoints new COO

Gulgun Dokuz, currently general director of trading, Asia-Pacific region, has been appointed as chief operations officer (COO) of HeidelbergCement Trading (HCT).

In her new role, effective as of 1 October 2019, Gulgun Dokuz will be responsible for the operational leadership for all trading and shipping activities as well as trade operations on a global basis and will be located in Istanbul, Turkey.

Gulgun Dokuz has 30 years of experience in the cement industry. Joining Canakkale Cement Company in 1989 as export manager afterwards she held various leadership positions, including senior advisor to CEO and head of trade operations, before taking over her current role as general director of trading, Asia-Pacific region.
