Moroccan cement deliveries up 9% in September

Cement dispatches in Morocco increased by 9.4 per cent YoY to 1.14Mt in September, up from 1.04Mt in September 2018, according to the country’s cement association, APC.

Shipments to the distribution segment have increased 3.2 per cent YoY to 767,707t while to ready-mix concrete companies deliveries were up 43.8 per cent to 182,940t. A total of 42,783t was supplied to the infrastructure sector, representing a 17.2 per cent YoY rise, reported Aujourd’hui Le Maroc

In the year to date, the Moroccan market expanded by two per cent to 10Mt when compared with the 9M18.
