Cement imports were down by 5.9 per cent to 2.49Mt in the 5M19. However, in June imports and domestic production saw a 3.9 per cent increase to reach 4.1Mt for the first six months.

By August, total domestic production and imports were up 8.4 per cent to 5.73Mt.
