LafargeHolcim plans EUR10m investment in Kujawy

LafargeHolcim will be investing EUR10m in its Kujawy cement plant in Poland. The company will be launched a new product on the market as well as increase the use of alternative fuels (AFs) at the works.

At present Cementownia Kujawy’s AF rate is between 80-85 per cent, or around 190,000t, but Lafarge plans to increase this to 90 per cent by 2021.

To date Lafarge has invested around EUR100m in the Kujawy cement works, which produces approximately 2Mta of cement.
