Holcim Azerbaijan launches first green cement

Holcim Azerbijan has launched ECOPlanet, its first environmentally friendly cement, under the brand names of Optimal and Inshaatchi. The latest additions to the company’s product base are limestone-based cements.

"We are committed to introducing new sustainable construction methods in the construction sector. Through Inshaatchi and Optimal, we contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions and using alternative raw materials. Holcim Azerbaijan is the first company in the Caucasus to offer solutions respectful with the environment to its partners", declared Holcim Azerbaijan Commercial Director, Sergey Stoykov.
