The commencement and signing ceremony of the 6000tpd clinker cement production line project of Andijan West Cement Co Ltd was held on 15 February 2025.
The plant opening was attended by the governor of Andijan prefecture, shuherat kushabayevic, the project partners of Uzbekistan, Houji bachlianjin and abdulasu, the chairman of the board of directors of WCC, Zhang Jimin, the party secretary of Sinoma International (Nanjing), general manager, Liu Renyue, party secretary and executive director of Suzhou Sinoma, Lin Zhong, President of WIH Wang Fayin, and other leaders. More than 130 leaders from the government departments of Andijan Prefecture, Suzhou Sinoma, Sinoma Nanjing Institute and WIH witnessed this important event.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Wang Fayin, President of WIH, delivered a welcome speech and introduced the project. He pointed out that the Andijan project will adopt the international advanced new second-generation dry process cement production line technology and equipment, and all technical design indicators have reached the international leading level. The Andijan project in Uzbekistan is an important step for West International Holding (WIH)to implement its international development strategic goals. After the project is completed, it can provide 2.2Mta of high-quality cement to Andijan state and surrounding areas every year, driving the rapid development of local economy, trade, transportation, catering and other industries.
Lin Zhong, party secretary and executive director of Suzhou Sinoma, said that Suzhou Sinoma and WCC have had good cooperation of mutual benefit and win-win results for nearly 20 years. The management teams and project teams of the two sides have forged profound friendship and realised "exchange, mutual learning and common development". He promised that on the new journey, Suzhou Sinoma people will continue to sweat and work hard to build new advantages of integrated development and build a high-quality benchmark project for Andijan Prefecture.
Subsequently, Wang Fayin, President of WIH, signed the general contract for the construction of "6000tpd clinker cement production line of Andijan project" with Lin Zhong, Secretary of the Party committee and executive director of Suzhou Sinoma.
Governor shuherat kushabayevic of Andijan state, President Wang Fayin of WIH, Uzbek partners Houji bachlianjin and abdallasu jointly pressed the start button, marking the successful completion of the project commencement ceremony.
The successful commencement of the project marks the substantial progress of the Central Asia strategy of WIH, which is of great significance to the sustainable development and the expansion of the international market of West China Ccement. It is believed that with the joint efforts of all parties, the Andijan project will be put into operation and effective as soon as possible and contribute to the economic development of Uzbekistan.
