Lebanon’s white cement producer sees sharp drop in 2024 profit

Société Libanaise des Ciments Blancs SAL (Holcim group) posted its full-year results for 2024, showing a significant decline in earnings.

Annual sales reached LBP487,309.75m (US$5.4m), down from LBP 511,172m in 2023. Net income fell sharply to LBP 51,756.28m from LBP 234,603.75m a year earlier.

Basic earnings per share from continuing operations dropped to LBP5.751, compared with LBP26.067 in the previous year.
