UltraTech Cement commissions 1.8Mta of additional cement capacity

UltraTech Cement has commissioned additional cement capacity across multiple locations, increasing its total production capacity by 1.8Mta. The expansion includes a 0.6Mta grinding unit at Dhule, Maharashtra, and a 1.2Mta integrated unit at Nathdwara, Rajasthan.

With these additions, the company’s total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity has risen to 188.66Mta. Including its overseas capacity of 5.4Mta, UltraTech Cement’s global capacity now stands at 194.06Mta.
