Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified conglomerates and a major cement producer, has been recognised as a Prestigious Brand of Asia for 2025–26 by Brand Advertising Research and Consulting Pvt Ltd (BARC Asia).
The award was presented at a ceremony in Dubai, where MGI’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mostafa Kamal, was also honoured as an Influential Business Leader in Asia. The accolades were received on their behalf by Remzi Issever, MGI’s Head of Chartering, according to a company press release.
Founded more than 50 years ago, MGI has grown to encompass over 54 industrial units. The group operates across a broad range of sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods, building materials, energy, hospitality and financial services, reinforcing its position as a key player in Bangladesh’s industrial landscape.
