Cement dispatches in Morocco fell 18.8 per cent YoY to 1,044,293t in January 2026 from 1,285,613t in January 2025, according to the country’s cement association, APC. 

The wholesale segment, the country’s largest market, saw a drop of 24.5 per cent YoY to 533,870t from 706,620t in January 2025. Dispatches to the ready-mix concrete sector declined by 11.5 per cent YoY to 274,256t from 309,744t over the same period while the prefabricated products segment reduced its off-take by 14.2 per cent YoY to 119,500t from 139,347t. Deliveries to the significantly smaller building segment declined by 7.2 per cent YoY to 35,080t from 37,779t in January 2025 while deliveries to infrastructure projects were down 13.2 per cent YoY to 76,023t in January 2026 from 87,539t. The country’s smallest market, mortars, bucked the trend, reporting a 21.4 per cent increase in demand to 5565t from 4584t over the same period.
