Shree Cement has commissioned a new clinkerisation section at its integrated cement plant in Kodla, Kalaburagi district, Karnataka, effective 24 February 2026.
The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The filing was signed by Company Secretary S.S. Khandelwal on the date of commissioning.
The newly commissioned clinker line has a capacity of 3.65Mta. With its start-up, total clinker capacity at the Kodla facility has increased to 7.15Mta.
The expansion forms part of Shree Cement’s ongoing capacity enhancement strategy and strengthens its manufacturing footprint in southern India. The Kodla project is being developed as an integrated cement plant, supporting the company’s efforts to scale up production and cater to regional demand growth.
