Mangalam Cement has confirmed the successful commissioning of new grinding capacity at its Aligarh manufacturing plant, marking a pivotal step in the firm’s production growth. The company has added 1.20Mta of grinding capacity to the Uttar Pradesh unit, a move that significantly broadens its operational scale and bolsters its manufacturing presence within the region. Gear Pfeiffer has supplied a vertical roller mill for the project.

Following this upgrade, the Aligarh unit’s total cement grinding capacity has reached 1.95Mta. This expansion transforms the facility into a primary manufacturing hub, substantially increasing its contribution to the organisation’s total output. As a direct result, Mangalam Cement’s overall grey cement production capacity has climbed to 5.6Mta, underscoring a consistent drive to modernise and grow its industrial infrastructure.

Leadership noted that this capacity boost is designed to streamline market service and logistics. The expansion is anticipated to improve regional reach and supply chain efficiency, ensuring more effective distribution and customer support throughout its active territories. The update was formally shared via a regulatory filing under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, reflecting the company’s focus on maintaining transparent communications regarding its strategic operational milestones.
