Indian producer Shiva Cement, a subsidiary of JSW Cement, reported a consolidated net loss of INR213.5m (US$2.5m) in the first quarter of FY2027, compared with a loss of INR302.8m in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Revenue increased by 42.8 per cent YoY to INR1.53bn, with sales rising from INR1.51bn from INR1.06bn in 1QFY26.

Basic and diluted loss per share both improved to INR0.72 from INR1.03 a year earlier.
