The UK Mineral Products Association (MPA) has appointed Paul Adeleke as its new CEO, succeeding Chris Leese, who is stepping back after serving as executive chair for the past two years.

Adeleke joins the MPA from the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), where he served as executive director for strategy, policy and communications. During his tenure at the GCCA, he helped advance the global cement and concrete industry's sustainability agenda, promoting policy development, innovation and collaboration to support the sector's transition towards net-zero CO2 emissions.

He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience spanning public affairs, strategic communications and sustainable development. Prior to joining the GCCA, Adeleke held senior positions with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Philip Morris International, the UK government, communications consultancy GKA and political intelligence provider Dods Group.
