Amrize has appointed Samuel J Poletti as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 24 August 2026, succeeding Baris Oran, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Mr Poletti has served on Amrize’s Executive Committee as chief strategy and M&A officer since the company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2025. He played a leading role in the spin-off that established Amrize as an independent company and previously spent more than 20 years at Holcim in M&A, finance and strategy.

As CFO, Mr Poletti will be based at Amrize’s operational headquarters in Chicago, USA.

Amrize has also appointed Dillon Cumming as vice president of Investor Relations, effective 8 September. Mr Cumming joins from Walleye Capital and previously covered building materials companies at Morgan Stanley.
