Ecuador's cement dispatches increased 8.6 per cent MoM to 492,600t in July 2026, according to the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE).
Cement production rose five per cent MoM to 474,900t, while inventories declined 25.9 per cent to 26,200t as market demand strengthened.
In January-July 2026 cement production reached 2.97Mt, up 11.8 per cent YoY, while cumulative dispatches increased 14 per cent to 2.97Mt.
The BCE said July's stronger activity coincided with Ecuador's June-October dry-season construction period. Bulk cement dispatches increased 9.7 per cent MoM, while bagged cement shipments rose 8.2 per cent.
