Power Cement Ltd has reported a sharp rise in profitability for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. According to the company’s statement of profit or loss, revenue surged to PKR33.98bn (US$122m), up from PKR29.52bn in 2025, while profit after taxation jumped to PKR3.78bn, compared with PKR?815m a year earlier, according to a financial report recently posted by the company at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

Gross profit rose to PKR12.08bn from PKR8.39bn, reflecting improved operational performance and cost efficiency. Profit from operations stood at PKR7.43bn, up from PKR4.62bn last year.

Finance costs declined significantly to PKR1.88bn, contributing to a higher profit before tax of PKR5.59bn. The company’s strong results indicate sustained demand and better margins in the cement sector.

Power Cement’s management attributed the growth to enhanced production efficiency and steady market expansion.

Power Cement Ltd, founded in 1981, is the flagship company of the Arif Habib Group. Located on Motorway M-9 in Nooriabad, Sindh, it was known as Al-Abbas Cement Limited until its acquisition by Arif Habib Group in 2010. The company has three manufacturing lines, with a clinker production capacity of 10,700 tpd and an annual cement production capacity of 3.37 Mt, making it a significant player in Pakistan’s South zone.
