JK Cement subsidiary, JK DryChem Industries LLC, has opened a new construction chemicals manufacturing facility in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), UAE.
The 5000m² plant, located in RAKEZ’s Al Ghail Industrial Zone, will manufacture liquid admixtures, prepared additives, dry-mix materials and coatings for the construction sector.
According to JK Cement, the investment will strengthen its manufacturing presence in the UAE and support the expansion of its construction chemicals business across international markets. The facility will initially supply customers in the UAE and wider GCC region, with exports to Africa and other markets planned at a later stage.
“The launch of this facility is an important step in strengthening our presence in the UAE and expanding our construction chemicals business across international markets,” said Dr Raghavpat Singhania, group managing director of JK Cement. “Establishing local manufacturing gives us greater proximity to our customers, strengthens our supply capabilities and creates a strong platform for future growth.”
RAKEZ Group CEO, Ramy Jallad, said the investment would add new production capabilities to Ras Al Khaimah’s industrial base and strengthen regional supply chains.
