Cement deliveries in Morocco fell 3.5 per cent YoY to 1,300,945t in August 2026 from 1,347,858t in the equivalent month of the previous year, according to APC data. 

Dispatches to the wholesale segment were down 3.6 per cent to 672,279t in August 2026 from 697,043t in August 2025. Off-take by the ready-mix concrete market slipped 1.6 per cent YoY to 373,361t from 379,596t while sales to the prefabricated products segment shrank by 12.8 per cent YoY to 115,201t from 132,074t. Deliveries to the infrastructure sector saw strong growth of 19.9 per cent YoY to 106,827t from 89,105t, but those to the building sector were weak, dropping 36.7 per cent YoY to 27,818t from 43,957t. The mortars segment saw sales fall by 10.3 per cent YoY to 5459t from 6083t.

January-August 2026
In the January-August 2026 period cement deliveries slipped 1.1 per cent YoY to 9.527Mt from 9.636Mt in the 8M25.

Of total deliveries, 4.998Mt was supplied to the wholesale segment in the 8M26, down 5.2 per cent YoY from 5.270Mt in the 8M25. The ready-mix concrete market expanded by 6.4 per cent to 2.585Mt from 2.428Mt, but the prefabricated products market saw an eight per cent drop in off-take. Deliveries to the infrastructure segment advanced 14.7 per cent You to 0.721Mt from 0.629Mt. Sales to the building sector slipped 1.9 per cent YoY to 0.275Mt from 0.280Mt over the same period. Dispatches to the mortar market declined by 6.1 per cent YoY to 0.041Mt from 0.044Mt in the 8M25.
