Silvi Cement, a division of Silvi Materials, is expanding its rail-served cementitious materials distribution network with new terminals in Greenville, South Carolina, and Columbus, Ohio.
The Greenville terminal is under construction and is scheduled to begin operations in October 2026. It will distribute Type I/II low-alkali cement and Grade 120 slag to customers across the southeastern US.
Silvi’s previously announced Columbus terminal is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. The facility will serve the Midwest with the same products and offer round-the-clock loading.
The terminals will complement Silvi’s marine, rail and road distribution operations in the eastern US. Its flagship import terminal in Bristol, Pennsylvania, has three storage domes with combined capacity of 165,000t.
Silvi Materials, headquartered in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, operates businesses spanning cement, slag, ready-mixed concrete and aggregates.
