Holcim Egypt has appointed Mohamed Gouda as sustainability director and general manager of its Geocycle Egypt waste-management business.
Gouda has more than 20 years of building materials industry experience gained in Egypt, Iraq and the UK. He most recently served as decarbonisation and innovation director at Holcim Egypt, focusing on circular-economy solutions, lower-carbon construction materials and CO2 reduction.
In his expanded role, Gouda will oversee the company’s sustainability programme and Geocycle operations as Holcim Egypt pursues the decarbonisation and circularity objectives within its NextGen 2030 growth strategy.
