JSW Cement has reiterated plans to expand its production capacity to 68Mta from around 24Mta.

Speaking at the Jefferies India Forum, company management said the growth strategy would be supported by its limestone reserves and continued investment in a more geographically diversified and integrated production network.

JSW Cement also expects operating costs at its northern operations to decline as investments including an overland belt conveyor, alternative-fuel systems and waste-heat recovery capacity become fully operational.
