Cyprus Cement Public Company reported net profit of EUR5.4m for the first half of 2026, up 16.4 per cent from EUR4.64m in the corresponding period of 2025.

The increase was driven primarily by its share of profits from associate Vassiliko Cement Works, which rose to EUR5.9m from EUR4.9m. Basic earnings per share increased to 3.94 euro cents from 3.38 cents.

Cyprus Cement’s principal activities comprise property development and strategic investments, including its interest in Vassiliko. The company’s board approved the interim results on 28 September.
