Cement demand in Morocco advanced 19.3 per cent YoY to 1,460,244t in September 2026 when compared with the year-ago level of 1,223,924t, according to the country's cement association, APC. 

The infrastructure market saw the largest expansion as deliveries were up 59.2 per cent to 121,831t. Meanwhile, 795,155t was delivered to the wholesale/retail sector, up 15.6 per cent YoY. The ready-mix concrete segment grew by 27 per cent YoY to 365,749t while building market increased its off-take by 25.9 per cent to 39,628t. Dispatches to the mortar market edged up by 4.1 per cent YoY to 5792t. However, sales to the prefabricated products segment slipped by 1.8 per cent to 132,089t.

January-September 2026
In the first nine months of 2026, total deliveries saw a 1.2 per cent uptick to 10.987Mt from 10.860Mt in the year-ago period. 

The wholesale sector in the 9M26 contracted by 2.8 per cent YoY to 5.794Mt. Deliveries to the ready-mix concrete sector increased 8.6 per cent YoY to 2.950Mt, but those to the prefabricated product segment were down 7.2 per cent YoY to 1.040Mt. Dispatches to the building segment edged up by 0.9 per cent to 0.314Mt and those to infrastructure projects were up 19.5 per cent YoY to 0.843Mt. Sales to the mortar segment declined by five per cent YoY to 46,690t.
