According to Flying Cement's annual report, released last week, the company achieved its highest-ever gross sales of PKR 22.237bn (US$80.31) during FY2026, driven by better dispatches and improved pricing. Consequently, net sales rose to PKR14.521bn. The gross profit ratio declined to 12.93 per cent from 15.11 per cent in the corresponding year, mainly due to higher production costs in the latter part of the year amid geopolitical uncertainty.

Operating profit rose 26.58 per cent, while finance costs increased because the company charged them to profit or loss during the year—previously, it had capitalized them.

The net profit ratio for the year under review fell from 5.79 per cent to 3.35 per cent from the previous year.

The company reported a significant rise in cement output and dispatches during the financial year 2026. Cement production rose to 972,377t from 732,421t in 2025, while dispatches rose to 971,576t from 741,458t a year earlier.

The data reflects strong operational growth, with higher production and sales volumes throughout the year, underscoring stronger market demand and improved plant efficiency.
