India Cements reported a 16.2 per cent YoY increase in domestic cement sales to 2.83Mt in the quarter ended 30 September 2026, while EBITDA rose 34.3 per cent to INR1.48bn (US$15.59m).
The UltraTech Cement subsidiary’s revenue from operations increased by 2.2 per cent to INR11.42bn. Operating EBITDA reached INR510/t, an improvement of INR177/t compared with the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
In its investor update released on 17 October, the company reported commitments of approximately INR17.28bn under its existing INR20bn modernisation and expansion programme, equivalent to 86.4 per cent of the approved budget.
The programme covers plant upgrades and capacity additions, with cement capacity targeted to increase from 14.45Mta to 17.55Mta by FY28. The expenditure commitments represent progress on the previously approved programme, rather than a new investment announcement.
