Zeotech has signed a 12-month, non-binding memorandum of understanding with Sunstate Cement to undertake concrete trials using its AusPozz metakaolin.
Announced on 21 October, the agreement provides for Zeotech to supply agreed quantities of the supplementary cementitious material alongside technical support. The companies will exchange technical information and test results to assess its performance and compatibility with concrete production systems.
Sunstate Cement, jointly owned by Adbri and Boral, supplies cementitious products to Queensland and northern New South Wales, Australia.
The trials are intended to support further validation of AusPozz in lower-carbon concrete and identify potential commercial opportunities. The MoU does not constitute a binding commercial supply agreement.
