Amrize has lowered its full-year guidance after cost inflation, adverse weather and elevated interest rates weighed on its third-quarter performance.

Revenue increased 2.2 per cent YoY to US$3.77bn, while adjusted EBITDA was broadly unchanged at US$1.08bn. The adjusted EBITDA margin declined from 29.1 to 28.5 per cent. Net income rose 3.3 per cent to US$558m.

Cement sales volumes fell 4.2 per cent to 6.8Mt, reflecting wet weather across the Northeast, South and Central regions of North America. Cement prices increased 1.8 per cent on a constant-currency basis. Price increases and energy, fuel and freight surcharges partly offset higher diesel, freight and raw-material costs.
