Vicat Group has raised its full-year sales guidance after reporting strong third-quarter growth, supported by recovering US demand and continued expansion in emerging markets.

Third-quarter sales increased 9.6 per cent YoY to EUR1.09bn, representing growth of 10.2 per cent on a like-for-like basis. This lifted sales for the first nine months of 2026 by 8.6 per cent to EUR3.12bn, or 10.6 per cent like for like.

Cement and clinker volumes rose 6.7 per cent to 22.78Mt during the nine-month period. Vicat attributed its performance to the recovery in the USA, solid emerging-market activity and price increases introduced to offset energy-cost inflation. The company said recent industrial investments had also contributed to growth.

Vicat now expects full-year sales to increase by 8–10 per cent on a like-for-like basis, compared with its previous forecast of growth exceeding five per cent. It maintained its projection of 7–9 per cent like-for-like EBITDA growth.

The group said its balanced exposure to developed and emerging markets continued to support performance despite an uncertain economic environment.
