Argentina’s Loma Negra reported a net profit of ARS14.48bn in the third quarter of 2026, reversing a net loss of ARS11.45bn in the year-earlier period. The improvement was principally attributed to a net financial gain, compared with a financial loss in 3Q25.
Sales of cement, masonry cement and lime declined 6.3 per cent YoY to 1.28Mt as weak construction activity and heavy winter rainfall affected July and August. The company reported an improvement in market activity during September.
Inflation-adjusted net revenue fell 3.2 per cent to ARS270.11bn, while adjusted EBITDA declined 6.7 per cent to ARS54.19bn. On a non-IAS 29 basis, adjusted EBITDA increased 16.2 per cent to US$42m.
Net debt stood at US$145m at the end of September, equivalent to 1.0 times trailing adjusted EBITDA, compared with 1.47 times at the end of 2025.
