Ciment Catalá: Catalan cement demand up 5% in 2015

The Catalan cement association, Ciment Català, forecast Catalan cement consumption to rise by five per cent, the first increase  after seven years of continuous falls. Catalonian monthly sales tumble

Cement sales in Spain's autonomous region of Catalonia during November 2013 fell by 21.8 per cent YoY to 110,140t. The decline was more than double the 9.3 per cent fall overall in Spain. Sales for the accumulated January to November period in Catalonia were also down 20.7 per cent to 1.43Mt. (Source: Expansión)

Catalonian producers cut exports, Spain

Cement producers in Spain's autonomous region of Catalonia reduced their exports by 41 per cent between January and April, compared to the same period in 2012. Catalonia output declines, Jan-March 2013

Cement output in Catalonia stood at 474,832t for January-March 2013, down 42.7 per cent on the year, data from the local cement makers' association Ciment Catala showed.
