PPC to construct new plant in Democratic Republic of Congo17 May 2013, Published under Cement NewsPPC has announced plans to construct a 1Mta cement factory in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as part of the company’s plans to increase revenue streams outside South Africa to 40 per cent by 2016. Lucky Cement not to build cement plant in India04 December 2012, Published under Cement NewsPakistan’s leading cement manufacturer and exporter Lucky Cement Ltd has officially informed the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) that it is not establishing a cement plant in India. The company is, however, proceeding as planned with two new overseas ventures.
