Newly appointed head of PT Semen Indonesia, Rizkan Chandra has said that he wants to raise the company’s sales outside of Indonesia from 5.2 per cent of revenue in 2015 to 10-15 per cent over the next three years. Due to a lack of results and financial capacity, nine of the companies returned their licenses voluntarily, Mr Gebregziabher explained. The expansion project is expected to take from 18 to 24 months. Derba Cements CEO, Haile Assegide, explained Derba was preparing to build a second plant in Chancho City.
