MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has received an order from Wuhu Xinlian Shipyard in China for eight MacGregor dry bulk cement handling systems. MacGregor, of the Cargotec group, has won a contract from New Times Shipyard, in China, for Intership Navigation Co Ltd's three new 36,500dwt Laker-class bulk carriers. Cyprus-based Intership Navigation manages a fleet of more than 80 vessels, mainly consisting of dry bulk and break bulk vessels, cement carriers and product tankers. Cargotec's MacGregor has completed the acquisition of the mooring and loading systems business from Aker Solutions. Cargotec announced the agreement to acquire the unit in October 2013 for an enterprise value of approximately EUR180m. MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured a new order for autonomous loading and unloading systems for an 8700dwt cement carrier to be built for Japanese shipowner Taiheiyo Kisen Kaisha Ltd.   The 109m vessel will have four cargo holds, each divided into two compartments.
