Enersource has assisted Holcim (Canada) in securing a financial incentive from the Ontario Power Authority of US$6.37m to support the development and construction of a waste heat recovery project at their Mississauga cement plant. Kohat Cement plans waste heat recovery project, Pakistan

Pakistan cement producer Kohat Cement is planning to construct a 9MW waste heat recovery project (WHRP). Sources say the plant will reduce electricity dependency on the national grid by 38 per cent. Pakistan-based producer Lucky Cement has started supplying excess electricity generated from its power generation plants to a domestic electricity distribution company. Lucky Cement is selling 20MW/h of electricity to Hyderabad Electricity Supply Company Ltd (HESCO), a company official has said.
