Hanson's Padeswood cement works ( HeidelbergCement ) in Wales, UK, has been shortlisted for funding as part of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Phase 2 Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Cluster sequencing process. UK cement and lime producers look to low carbon industrial clusters

This week Hanson UK (HeidelbergCement group) gave an update on its involvement in the HyNet North West industrial cluster project that will see the cement company aim to capture 0.8Mta of CO 2 at its Padeswood cement plant near Mold, Wales.
