Cementos Lima, the largest cement manufacturer in Peru, saw cement shipments in 2011 decline by 53,000t, down 1.6% from 2010. This brings the company’s total cement shipments for the year to 3.2Mt. Shipments of cement in the Peruvian market totaled 8.9Mt between January and December 2011, 2.42 per cent more than that recorded in 2010, when (8.98Mt), reported the Association of Cement Producers (Asocem).
