Indian port modified norms for handling imported limestone

Porbandar Port has made some changes in handling raw materials for cement and other industries. New ship unloader ordered for Port of Newcastle

Tenova TAKRAF will develop the ship unloader for the new bulk cargo terminal at the Port of Newcastle, Australia, which is scheduled to open in December 2019. Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd appointed Tenova/Takraf to build the ship unloader and conveyor facility to replace 50 year-old equipment at the terminal in Walsh Point, Kooragang. Fertilisers, alumina and magnetite, meals and cement will be the bulk cargoes handled by the port.
