The 30th anniversary of the first publication of International Cement Review (ICR) in July 1988 has arrived. While last month’s Technical Forum considered the major changes in the world cement industry over the past 30 years of ICR, this issue will look at what changes might be anticipated over the next 30 years.
There is no alternative to cement for constructing the world’s required infrastructure
Last month’s review of the last 30 years of ICR was based around three threads. This included where the moderator was in July 1988, how the structure of the international cement industry has changed in those 30 years and most importantly for the Technical Forum, how the technology of cement manufacturing has changed over that time.
