Advanced alumina-silicon carbide bricks for rotary kilns

17 July 2025

Alkali-induced degradation is a growing problem with the increased usage of alternative fuels, resulting in broken linings in the upper transition zone of rotary kilns. To address this issue, Siam Refractory Industry Co has developed KEMRESIS-S15HP, an advanced refractory material derived from its KEMRESIS technology. By Thanaporn Naknoum, Thanapong Prasertphol, Kanokon Thongrod, Pakakrit Tinnakorn and Wittaya Yaipimai, Siam Refractory Industry Co, Thailand
